Berlin Event Brings Together Employers to Discuss Global STEM Hiring.

Despite Berlin's summer heatwave - temperatures topped 35°C - employers, recruiters and Nigerian STEM professionals turned out in force for SUSTAIN's latest employer engagement event.
The event brought together employers interested in expanding their talent pipelines, alongside key migration stakeholders to share meaningful discussions on labour mobility, international recruitment, and inclusive hiring practices.
The panel discussion included insights from Andreea Lungulescu (Talent Crunch Berlin), Oluwatimilehin "Timi" Shonibare (Voicemod), and Nanda Porto (GetYourGuide) who discussed what's actually working in STEM hiring, and what challenges employers still face when recruiting internationally.
SUSTAIN also welcomed a representative from NIDO Africa (Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation), one of SUSTAIN's valued partners, who shared perspectives on supporting Nigerian STEM professionals as they settle into Germany.
The panel was followed by a networking bingo session designed to get employers and stakeholders to exchange ideas and build new professional connections.
